Obligation

This was very late night with a spry Willie looking straight at me while Oates licks his paws on the couch behind him.

Now over a month in I can feel what a challenge it is to take a satisfactory picture and post about them every day. Today I was barely around, went out with friends who came over after dinner and just left. I need to go to bed. But I needed a quick photo session and post.

I'm reminded of how I explain my commitment to them to others, especially those who don't own dogs: it never feels liken a burden or obligation.
